XML: Extensible Markup Language

The Extensible Markup Language contains a variety of measures used in Open Source programs, and applications. Shortened by its well-known acronym: XML, has brought to existence interesting new abilities to the World Wide Web. Extensible Markup Language is a powerful meta language used in processing transactions for banking, order processing, or during communications.

The Extensible Markup Language was originally intended for making web page design easier, but as time grew onward XML became cluttered with impossible standards. XML promises to bring in a new world evolving information into new uses. The meta language has made at least part of that notion a reality.

The Extensible Markup Language does have many useful qualities. Instead of a web-based meta language, it was never realized that XML would become a foundation for many applications. XML applications have the ability to communicate with other XML applications.
